Independent scene parts can be loaded by a background process if memory is available. From a developers view, the clean object oriented C++ codebase makes it easy to develop new stable 3D applications within a short amount of time. The object encapsulation technique used in Bionic 3D also ensures good application forward compatibility when newer libraries and hardware features become available. Continuous LOD outdoor terrain is currently in development and will support lit and multitextured terrain with focus on a high amount of short range landscape detail.
